My cats nasty habit

Firstly id like to say I really like my cat. Im a self confessed cat lady.

However shes started bringing in live mice. She doesnt kill them, she makes no attempt to. Ive caught them all and put them back outside, but its a real issue. The mice scurry under furniture and its a real ball ache, especially in the early hours of the morning.

Does anyone have any nifty tips of how to stop this behaviour? Does anyone have any experience of this?

DS's best friend's cat wrangled a live, Cornish seagull through the catflap early one morning and they came down to chaos in the kitchen. Those are bloody big birds! It must have been bin day, I think.

I've heard they're trying to teach you to hunt and you should play along.

One of our cats is an absolute savage, be was so cute and cuddly that at first I couldn't believe it was him bringing an assortment of animals into the house, I thought it was his brother bit after catching him bringing a squirrel through the cat flap I now know who to blame for the mice, birds, rats, rabbits, moles and bat
