To put milk in herbal teas?

I have a very nice berry and chilli tea, but it's too spicy. Tried it with a bit of milk and it tones it down so it's still spicy but bearable. As I was putting in the milk I felt like a total heathen. I'm sure someone's going to drag me out and burn me at the stake for heresy!

I do know someone else who does this, she puts milk in lemon, ginger and honey flavoured tea, so I'm not alone!

I thought everyone put milk in Earl Grey? No. Not everyone. I don't put lemon in it though. If it comes with a slice of lemon, I eat the lemon separately.

You’re a weirdo OP. But then I unapologetically ask for milk with my Earl Grey in swanky places, so I can’t pearl clutch. Tea should be drunk however you like it.
