To be annoyed by table spray bottles!!

I've always found it annoying why people clean tables in cafes/eating establishments by using the spray bottle directly onto the table from a distance rather than spraying onto the cloth directly and then wiping the table.
Today I was in a cafe with ds 18 months, happily eating in his highchair to have a mist of cleaning spray over his head and lunch from the member of staff cleaning the adjacent table.
I did point out what had happened but she said she doesn't have time to spray the cloth first Hmm and the spray bottle doesn't contain anything nasty Confused.

Am I being precious?

I'll find another cafe.

Yes Bertie. Once you've tried foam you can't go back.

No, I hate the stupid foam option :o I'm forever trying to work out how to take it off.

The directions for use on D10 and Desguard (the most common) are to spray directly on tables with a contact time of one minute, otherwise they don't actually sanitise the surface. So yes, you're being silly sorry.

The same chemicals are also used to sanitise kitchen utensils between uses so are actually in your food too.
