if climate change is bad then it stands to reason there is a perfect climate for the earth?
also how do you propose to stop the climate changing when it has done constantly for the last 5 billion years with the temperature at some points being both a lot warmer and a lot colder.

It's about the correct climate for us humans and many of the species that like the climate how it has been for the last millennia or so.

The threat is against us, not against the earth. Mars still exists even after the solar winds stripped it of an atmosphere that could have sustained life.

🤦🏻‍♀️ No one is arguing that the climate should be static. There are natural fluctuations in temperature. But what we’re experiencing now is not a natural fluctuation or a gradual fluctuation. We’re seeing rapid temperature rises as a result of human actions.

The current climate emergency is because we are reaching a tipping point beyond which the climate won't be able to swing back to what we consider normal. The change is happening so fast that natural disasters and extreme weather events are becoming normal. Seal levels will ... oh God, what's the point?
