Looking to go away on a girly weekend next October where we can just eat our away across the town.

Where would you go to eat amazing food? Doesn't need to be a posh, just good quality.

Would be good if there were other nice things to visit nearby, but it's all about the food!

Glasgow. Happy to recommend as many places as you could ever want or need.

For all the people recommending Edinburgh, what restaurants in particular are great? Nothing white-linen fancy, but relaxed, great atmosphere, good drinks etc?

Cismyfatarse1 · 06/10/2019 22:04

The Ox on Broughton Street

Mother India

Castle Terrace (but very posh)

I love the Mosque Kitchen

L'Escargot Bleu

Stocks bridge Market on Sunday

Norwich, Cromer (if you like crab!), Marlow, Glasgow, Ludlow (had a fantastic girlie weekend away there earlier in the year and the food was spectacular), Manchester, Liverpool and I particularly agree with those who said Belfast.

Ludlow is fantastic.
