Would you expect your childcare provider to refuse to take your child if they had conjunctivitis?

Mine let them in when they have been on antibiotic eye drops for 24 hours and they see proof of a prescription

Depends on how old the child is. It’s highly contagious. If a child can understand not to rub their eyes and wash their hands if they do then it’s fine, if they are too young to understand then they will easily spread it to others so maybe not.

Yes if they are looking after other children. It's highly contagious.

Our nursery take them with conjunctivitis, its why ds seems to have it all the time!!

Yep, just checked and NHS says you don’t need to stay off unless you’re feeling unwell
