May I join in? A day late, but fuck it. The only guy I've met in about 5 years who I thought I could date turned out to not be that into me so I ended it. Am feeling sorry for myself with a bottle of rum (and a bottle of mezcal but that tasted too much like the sadness of my youth!)

Yay! With you on the f**k it! I'm 65 with no kids, and believe me, I'm happy with that. Though I do have a partner 12 years younger than me. That makes me feel older. I wonder where my life has gone. Nevermind

After being out all day and not coming home for dinner, as originally planned, but strolled in an hour ago, DH is in a massive strop as I've said I'm having the lay in tomorrow. It's been non stop all day and DS2 is a climber who has decided naps are for wimps.

This thread has been the BEST thing I've read after a miserable week, feeling at absolute rock bottom, and has actually brought a smile to my face.
Fuck all the selfish fuckers who bring other people down!! (And I did have a fuck it takeout and wine last night, and am eating a mountain of buttery toast and hot chocolate for my fuck it breakfast).

Work place like Armageddon and not likely to change, more family dramas than a soap opera, husband, his bloody TV and twatty mobile ringtones all too loud, house a tip, dogs been squabbling, broke a back tooth, fed up letting everyone else’s needs come first. Doing well on my diet, looking at said lazy arsed OH on the sofa and trying to decide between going nuclear or stealing his box of favourites from the fridge and going back to bed with them, (choccies, not the Asshat OH£

Sod it Saturday was a success.

Gorgeous pie for tea, a rum drink that was basically alcoholic Um Bongo (10.2% a bottle), gin & Strictly.

Had an interview today, and the interviewer was surgically attached to her phone, so it was like I was having to interview myself! Fuck 'em I say, don't want that fucking job anyway. Fucking oiks. Might not be able to manage tonight but I'm up for Wankered Wednesday. It's going to be a long one.

This week's Fuck it Friday went well. Quite a lot of rum went down.

For Sod it Saturday we've got wine then a choice of gin, more rum or whisky.

Fuck it Friday didn't happen here as I went to bed ill. Currently nursing a sore throat with wine in a nod to Sod it Saturday. It's so painful but I will not be defeated!
