Argh I've spent the day in bed today feeling really tired and just started to feel shivery and nauseas.

My period is supposed to come tomorrow so have no idea if that could be why I feel unwell but I'm freaking out that I could be actually ill and maybe start throwing up- which I have a huge fear of.ShockSad

Any words of wisdom to get over emetophobia or the anxiety?

@blanketsallday I suffer from emetophobia as well and it sucks, especially the cleaning bit cam totally relate. I got cbt therapy on the nhs and luckily had a really good therapist. This helped/helps me, to think of the feeling as anxiety and your body can only produce so much. From that I think of it like a rollercoaster it goes up so must come back down. Hope this helps.

@blanketsallday I hope you’re feeling better. I promise you you’re not alone. I’m in exactly the same position as you. I’ve never worked and going out is not easy. There are lots of us out there like this. If ever you want a chat or a bit of reassurance please message me. Lots of love to you xx Flowers

Much love to you all. Can totally relate to the climbing over the table comments and the rather dying thing! Didn’t realise other people’s fear was as extreme as mine. Would be really interested to hear if anyone has had any successful treatment. I’ve had hypnotherapy and CBT but to no avail x
