Another CF parking thread

Need to explain a bit of background so bear with me. I recently started a new job. As no parking is available and it’s near a city centre, I looked into where I could park and rented on a daily basis a parking space nearby through a website that offers that service. I paid for 2 weeks and parked there every week day. Towards the end of the second week, a neighbour got quite abusive to me parking in the car park. I contacted the web site that I had booked through as was advised to contact the space owner direct, as you are given their details. I did this, explained what happened. She apologised and said that she understood if I didn’t want to book the space anymore. Coinciding with this, I discovered that my colleagues don’t pay to park, but park in resident streets where there are no restrictions. I started parking in neighbouring streets on some days, and days where I couldn’t get a space, I would book and pay to park in the space I had rented previously. This has been happening for the last month, normally one to two days a week, I would pay to park. Anyway today I receive a text from the space owner saying, I notice you’ve been parking your car on the street by X, where you’re not allowed, so I’ve taken a photo of your car and reported you. Wtf? I could see no parking restrictions where I’ve been parking. It wasn’t outside anyone’s house, and I see co workers and other people park there every day. AIBU to think that she’s just being a CF? Should I contact the website? I was hoping to continue using her space once a week, but obviously not going to now?

Wow cutting her nose off to spite her face really there! I wouldn't worry about her reporting you, and start looking for a new space when the road is full if there are no restrictions.
