Antidepressants in pregnancy

Hi all,
Without going into to much detail, I’m 9 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. And I am really stressed out, feel anxious and really emotional. My doctor has prescribed sertraline ( I stopped taking citalopram about 2 months ago) but I am concerned about taking it, as I’m not sure of the effects on the baby. Any advice would be greatly received!

Speak to your consultant or gp, if your care is midwife lead.
I dont know if your in the UK. I had my first DC in the UK never saw a consultant until the birth ran into problems.
My 2nd in Ireland it is consultation led for every visit I got lots more information.
If you can make it past 12 weeks I would try that.
I left it until 24 weeks as I mentioned up thread it was to late.
I hear steralyn is the mildest?

I was referred to pregnancy MH services to monitor me.
They wanted me back on medication before the 24 weeks, the extra care helped.
