Right so for the last week or so I've had some crazy crazy sweating going on.. I mean 3 or 4 times a day I literally drip with sweat. It runs down my back, my legs Blush and my face looks like I've stuck it under a tap.

I'm not hot!!! Why am I sweating?! I've seen the gp today and thank god I was sweaty there too so I'm having a blood test tomorrow.

It's the face sweating that's worse, it literally doesn't stop once it starts, it runs down my face and off my nose, I'm so embarrassed 😩. When I was in scrubs last week I had to get changed 5 times in 10 hours.

Aibu to stay inside forever until my sweaty body turns me into a fucking prune

Side note it doesn't taste salty or make my eyes sting as it usually does when I exercise.. it just looks like someone dumped a bucket of water on my head..

Help me please!!!

Oh side note side note I also get goosebumps when the sweats happen. But I've taken my temperature and it's not high. 37.3

I’ve just been diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder called Graves’ disease which causes an over active thyroid. One of the first symptoms was the sweating. I am 50 so thought it was menopause but now I’m on medication the sweating (face in particular) has all but stopped. I know there is a form of graves that is associated with pregnancy but I don’t know much about that specifically as it wasn’t the cause of mine. If the GPs done a blood test hopefully they will check your thyroid levels. I was quickly diagnosed, referred and treated as soon as the GP had my results back. Might be worth checking they’ve tested your thyroid levels. Hope you sort it out as the sweating is a pain in the bum and always seems to happen at inopportune moments...!

Ask your GP but in the meantime order some of this water spray. It's a very, very fine spray and absolutely fantastic if you keep it in the fridge. It won't mess up any make up, either.

Also I'm so sorry you had a miscarriage.
