To ask the charity shop for my things back?

My partner today mistakenly dropped off about 6 boxes of items to a charity shop that I had been keeping aside to sell. I didn’t realise until it was too late and the shop had closed. Wondering how unreasonable it is to go in there tomorrow and ask if I can have my things back?! I was really hoping to make a little bit of money from this stuff. Or should I just let it go?

I'd like to know what you decided to do too OP.

I once sorted out all my clothes, I had a bunch of bags of clothes for a charity shop that I left in the hallway. Opposite that bunch of bags I put one bag with my favourite winter jackets that I intended to put in the attic.

My brother moved my jacket bag, unbeknownst to me, to the bloody charity bags bunch and I took them all to the CS! By the time I went looking for my jackets and realised what had happened it was too late to even bother trying to get them back.

Lovely brown leather flattering fitted jackets and my sentimental jacket from my mum :( Never got over that. And I didn't even tell my brother, he still has no idea!!
