Why do they still exist? They either snap off and the can is an awkward shape to use a tin opener on or it presses tightly against your finger as it turns round.Whats wrong with making the pull can lids surely I'm not asking much here? Btw I'm being (a bit) lighthearted.Making corned beef hash.

I went to open a can a couple of months ago and the key wasn't there! Had to get pliers and try and turn that stupid metal ribbon with them instead. I'll never say a bad thing about the keys again...

Yabu to eat corned beef. Making the ring pull difficult to use is the universe’s way of trying one last ditch attempt to prevent you releasing the vile contents upon innocent mashed potatoes. Mangled fingers are a small price to pay for not having to face the evil that lurks within.

😂 this is probably very outing but I make stovies with corned beef from a tin and ALL my friends (and DH) take the piss.
