DS 21st asked him what he wanted. A weeks holiday with me was the answer. 😁
But Ive been looking for days now and cant find the right type of place. His only requirement was not chavy and a pool.
It has to be May half term ( 23rd) due to work.
My budget it £ 600 each and All inclusive hopefully as he eats me out of house and home. Does such a holiday exist?
Ive been looking at Adeje in Tenerife Dalaman in Turkey.
Please help me find a nice one as I really want it to be nice and spend a bit of time with just me and him. I hardly see much of him as he's working shifts.
TIA

We went to Cyprus all inclusive in may this year, for around £600ish. I think Greek islands would be your best bet for nice weather in may.

How about one of the European centre parcs, massive pools, great activities, beach, lakes and one even has indoor skiing. Depending where you live you could even drive to keep cost down. They are incredibly cheap and you can get flights under £50.

What are your airport options, it'll make it much easier for people to make suggestions?

PPs suggesting London but you could be in Aberdeen 😆

Guardsman18 · 15/09/2019 16:27

That's why I mentioned that I look at local airports and that the cost doesn't increase too much.

I would definitely go to Marrakech - the markets are amazing and weather is great even later in the year. Stay a couple of nights in a riad then off to an all inc place for pool n food for the rest of the week.

if your looking at turkey i would look at marmaris rather than dalaman or icmela but all inclusive isnt all that there i would look at b&b as eating out and drinks are so cheap, malta is reasonabley priced and not chavvy , ive just come back from benalmedane in spain and totally different to benidorm, very retty all inclusive around your price bracket and plenty to do, pretty beach front, mainly couples and families,

isseywithcats · 15/09/2019 17:01

thats benalmedena fat fingers strike again

allgoodinthehood · 15/09/2019 17:09

You must be a so proud of him.

What about morroco? Essaouira rather than Marrakech if you want a more chilled out holiday

StillCoughingandLaughing · 15/09/2019 18:41

What about Croatia . It was loved by my the 20 year old son when we went

I’d second this. Some friends of mine took their daughters (a couple of years older than your son) and their respective boyfriends recently and everyone enjoyed it. Should be good weather in May too.
