Posted in children's health but no replies. Just discovered one of my DSs has worms. Will go to the chemist this morning and get treatment for us all however DH and I are going away this weekend and the kids will be staying with grandparents. Will the grandparents need to take treatment as well ???

It’s usually just one tablet

No I don’t believe so
But would be good to be on safe side
Ask pharmacist

BarbariansMum · 10/09/2019 07:21

No. If you get over and treat them today, you'll be done for 2-3 weeks (check packaging).

Ovex, not over

I read the eggs live for 2 weeks is that right ? So wondering if he could infect them while he is there even though he has taken the first does ?

Tell them and give them the choice. I had mine dgc a couple of days after worming and we just risked it but got the tablets just in case.
