To not be able to think of a fun way to spend a day out of the house on my own?

I'm going back to work next month and DH is going to be a SAHD. He's not had DS on his own for more than about 3 hours at a time because I'm breastfeeding. He suggested that in the next month it would be good to have a few practice days on his own with DS to see how things go. I think this is a very good idea.

There's lots I'd love to do around the house (it needs a deep clean and the garden is a state) but DH wants me out of the house so he can't just turn to me when things get tough. Frustrating but fair enough I guess.

I can't really think of anything I want to do outside the home though. It would be on several weekdays so no friends available. I don't like spa days. Other people talking at the cinema irritates me too much for it to be relaxing. I'm not really interested in museums or galleries if I'm honest. I like listening to audiobooks and crafting but don't really fancy just doing that all day.

Any suggestions? I'm near Bristol it that helps but don't have a car.

Go to the library, sit and read without being interrupted.
