AIBU to think Monica was a dick to Rachel?

Just watching the episode where Rachel finds out about Monica and Chandler. They’re supposed to be best friends but Monica tries to convince Rachel there’s nothing going on! Lying straight to her face...

Why did Monica want to keep it a secret to such a great extent?

I always wondered why despite Monica being a chef she seemed to have plenty of evenings and weekends off to hang out with the others, also never having to work on thanksgiving or Christmas!

Also, why does neat freak Monica have kitchen cupboards without doors? They’re crammed to the gills with crap, yet apparently she doesn’t have a thing out of place in the rest of the apartment.

Stillcoughing one of the set designers has said that they designed the apartment before they realised how big a neat freak she was. If they had known the apartment would have looked very different!

so this would make this post a moo point

I am another that wanted Joey and Rachel to work, they’d have had beautiful kids.
