I've lost 21 lbs.

Just weighed myself for first time since starting my journey.

Ive still got a lot to go (another 80lbs) but I've done THIS and I'm proud of it.

Congratulations, that is incredible. Best of luck with the rest!

Dita73 · 06/09/2019 21:06

That is absolutely brilliant. Since April last year I’ve lost 8 stone and 8lbs (although we just had a family dinner so it’s probably not true right now!). Once it starts coming off it’s the best feeling ever isn’t it. This is one of those times in life where time passing quickly is great because you reach your goal much quicker than you thought you would. I still can’t believe it. When I look at clothes I’m still looking at plus sizes then realise I don’t need them. I wish you all the best for the future. You are fabulous! X

Well done. That’s great! After reading the weighing for planes thread & all the holier than thou ‘luckily I only weigh 2.5 stone so I can have extra luggage Grin’ comments, I’m glad your thread popped up! Motivated me to kick myself up the arse - ASAP!

karenbokaren · 06/09/2019 22:16

That's brilliant!

@HattieMcNastie and @Dita73 well done!

Amazing!

Dita73 · 07/09/2019 09:32

Thank you! What’s really helped me is a fitbit. It was quite shocking to realise how many calories I was putting in and how little I was moving. They’re not that accurate but they give you a good idea of what’s going on. Although mine congratulated me on my 35 minute workout when all I’d been doing was standing in the kitchen scraping potatoes!! X

HattieMcNastie · 07/09/2019 09:40

😂

I really want to join the gym but I have terrible anxiety so I don't think I can.

Jeezoh · 07/09/2019 09:45

PrincessHoneysuckle · 07/09/2019 09:48

Well done

PetraDelphiki · 07/09/2019 14:25

If you worry about the gym try couch to 5k...it really really works! Just start it running slower than you think is physically possible...I found some tracked runs from a year ago where I was doing about 4.2kph...a year on with a break for the winter I can run 5k at around 7.2!!! Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks - their opinion doesn’t matter!

HattieMcNastie · 07/09/2019 14:27

I'd rather do something in the confines of my own home alongside walking. Just so I don't feel like a numpty.

Amazing Hattie - try doing HIIT exercises from YouTube or a DVD. You just need an exercise mat and some hand weight. Worked for me.

Aprillygirl · 07/09/2019 14:38

That's amazing! Well done OP Star

swingofthings · 07/09/2019 14:39
