I get married tomorrow and have obviously women up this morning with a great big spot Sad

Hardly had any since a teen and now I start!

Does anyone have any tried and tested over night remedies?!

A soluble aspirin made into a paste with a little water and plastered on - salicylic acid!

Posted too soon ... have a wonderful day tomorrow!

Freederm gel. I swear by it as it doesn't dry the surrounding skin. It will work a treat. Slather on overnight and enjoy your day

Sorry for TMI but Just be careful what you try as a first time remedy, that it doesn’t make your skin worse. I had one the other week and used salicylic acid, by mid day the next day, it turned into a huge yellow head full of pus, easy enough to burst but it then wept for a while- not what you want to appear half way through your day!

Is it a white head, is it full of pus, or is it a red swollen lump? If a lump, I would ask who ever is doing your make up to cleverly cover it, as it will be better then dried skin/crusty or headed. Enjoy your day!

Toothpaste

(Remember to take it off before going outside)

I got some Miss Spa Clear Blemish Patches from Superdrug and swear by them when I have a large, uncomfortable spot. They are little clear, round stickers that you stick on the spot. I wear one all day, wash my face then apply another before bed.

Have a wonderful wedding!

I was given some fantastic advice recently that I still swear by. Buy yourself some La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 (you can get it in Boots, it's not pricey).

Clean your face and then apply a thick layer of it, massage it in as much as you can and then apply vaseline over the top to seal it in. When I needed to get rid of my spots quickly, I did this about 3 times during the day and then did a very thick layer of both the Cicaplast Baume B5 and Vaseline before going to bed (really massage the baume in) although make sure to sleep on your back.

Basically, I had a face full of spots that randomly popped up (I usually have very good skin) and by the next day they were about 80% gone (easily covered with makeup) and by day two 90% gone and by day three they were completely gone. I've been using the baume (without vaseline) every single day since and my skin is great.

Alternatively, I've always found that Sudocrem works quite well and my mum used to put ice on her spot to bring down the swelling before applying Sudocrem. I've also heard that eye drops can reduce the redness, although I've never tried this myself.

Good luck and congratulations!

Witch stick is great. Always works for me.
