Woman posed as a baby’s mother and got him circumcised. She was convicted but given a suspended sentence. AIBU? To think she should have been put in prison?

@MrsTerryPratchett I agree, it’s a stretch to say it’s more damaging than FGM. It just goes to show the emotional impact it has on the victims of it.
I’m not downplaying FGM in any way, there is imo similarities and circumcision shouldn’t be labelled as being ‘ok’ because it’s legal.
