What fucking loads of shite, I work part time and take DCs to and from school half of the week. I find it so draining, some Mums are just awkward and bitchy. Its giving me anxiety!!! Why???? Am I the only one fucking hate the school run?

Urgh,rogue apostrophe there.

No I hate it too. However, I don't particularly like other people so I find this helps in the school yard.

I’ve got this down to a fine art - drop at breakfast club, pick up at end of afterschool
club = no mingling required!

"The cliquey mums" this phrase comes up quite often on MN - some mums are just social? Just because you may be socially awkward it doesn't automatically make other mums cliquey/bitchy.

I'm awkward as fuck by the way so not one of the "cliquey mums" trying to make excuses Grin

DH hates it, I just stroll in like Fotherington-Thomas; “Hello clouds, hello sky!” Quite enjoy the people watching.

Breakfast club 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I'm even paying for breakfast club on my day off. Can't be doing with half an hour of hanging around.
