To be annoyed at overpowering garden smoke

My house currently stinks of acrid smoke. My baby is coughing and my asthma is fairly aggravated. Purely because my DH opened the door to get something out of the car. Apparently a house 6 doors down has a blazing fire in their garden.

I fully accept bbq smoke at this time of year, but this is 5th November bonfire level with plastic or something which should not be burnt! I'm wheezy and my eyes are stinging after going upstairs and closing all the windows. Wibu to mention this to them/the estate agents?

Is the house for sale or a rented property then?

What estate agents?

If the fumes are really making you choke you should really call the fire brigade - it could be serious, whatever they’re burning could cause lots of problems

Bonfires are allowed after sunset aren't they? Agree if it's that accord it's not right, they've probably burnt some plastic by mistake. As a one off I'd let it go. I wouldn't call the fire brigade.

Its possibly just a bonfire ...these things happen at this time of year. Just keep your windows shut.

Definitely not unreasonable - the idiots who burn rubbish in their garden are inconsiderate arses. We have a wanker a few doors up who does the same; at least once a week and it's horrible having to shut windows and air vents for hours.
