To dislike Saturdays

Always feel really flat and bored on a Saturday and a great sense of pressure to do something exciting with the kids. Currently dh is napping older dd in her room on her phone, younger dd watching tv. Both dds have been at gymnastics today but I don't know what else to do and never seem to have 'plans' on a Saturday. Maybe it's okay to do nothing but I wonder if the kids are missing out on some great big fun Saturday secret!?

Subeccoo I was going to suggest Parkrun too! Would have been my idea of hell a year ago but since doing Couch to 5k has become a really enjoyable hobby and a great way to meet people too!

I like Saturdays although now my kids are older it's really hard to find things we all want to do together as a family!

Saturdays are fab. No getting up early. We try to do something fun during the day. It’s usually low key but sometimes there’s a bit more effort.
I just look up local events regularly and subscribe to some local websites.
I can’t enjoy a relaxing Sunday if I haven’t done anything on a Saturday.
