Robbed twice in one week

So we were burgled whilst in house the other night and they also made off with our car keys. Second robbery is through the bloody insurance (admiral) who have increased it by £500 as we have one car and not two to insure now. Wtf? Can't make this stuff up! They are also not providing a hire car or much in the way of car contents (ie doesn't even cover the cost to replace glasses).

You haggle with the insurers. Don’t accept the first amount they offer. Get 2 or 3 particulars of cars being sold that are identical or very similar to yours to show how much you’d need to pay to replace it.

Agreed they expect you to negotiate up. Look on auto trader for comparable car
