To report her driving...

So, a woman I know through a friend has irritating me for a couple of years now. I would say the last few months this irritation has increased as I cannot believe her attitude towards the matter.

She uses her phone whilst driving. She Snapchats whilst driving. Constantly! . She doesn't seem to care who sees her either!

I sent her a Snapchat a while ago telling her to stop driving and using her phone, of course adding in the "lol" to soften the blow and avoiding any angry reply back.

Would you report her? When I say it's constant, I actually mean that it IS Constant!! I've seen her a few times and a Snapchat tonight. Who actually cares what song has come on your radio anyway!?!

Yes report her. She needs to come out to RTA caused by being on her phone to understand the reality of it.

CherryCoke, I never thought I’d be grateful for mostly being on the bus, but your attitude has made me feel lucky I’m rarely in a car.

I wonder how many accidents, injuries, stress etc are caused by this.

The car manufacturers don’t help....I see you can get texts read out to you while driving. Absolute state of it.

Lemonlady22 · 20/08/2019 20:50

i expect those people got on the escalators of their own choice and where not pushed on by someone else while doing something illegal Hmm

Neron · 20/08/2019 20:50

A woman has been shamed for something similar on the facebook page Idiot UK drivers exposed.
It's a continual disregard for the law and puts everyone at risk. I'm one of those people who's left with permanent damage because some twonk (an aspiring Labour politician no doubt) thought using her phone whilst driving was more important, than obeying the law and paying attention to the road. I was on my motorbike and I was lucky not to be killed. People like this are selfish cunts and definately need to be reported. She's been lucky not to maim or kill someone so far.

Lemonlady22 · 20/08/2019 20:55

Heres hoping she will only kill herself if she causes an accident, and not some innocent person going about their day (her poor children might not be so lucky though, seeing her dead will be so traumatising, unless she kills them as well)

Passthecherrycoke · 20/08/2019 20:55

The point is, a PP challenged my post saying that she was highly highly unlikely to kill someone demeaning statistics, which were given and, with respect, do prove that she is highly highly unlikely to kill someone (38 million cars in the U.K.: 33 deaths)

Then bizarre drama llama posts about talking to their families, writing on the death certificate and whether people use escalators of their own free will. c’mon. Stupid posts.

Sunflowers211 · 20/08/2019 20:57

@Passthecherrycoke I will pass on your uneducated remarks to all the family's of loved ones lost in Road Accidents caused by people on their phone. I suggest you shut up.

Passthecherrycoke · 20/08/2019 20:57

Oh you know them all do you sunflowers? What a daft thing to say. Grow up

BlueCornsihPixie · 20/08/2019 21:01

Also there's not 30 deaths a year from escalators in the UK.

There's 30 in the USA, and approximately 4000 deaths from phone use while drivimg

So not comparible at all Hmm

BlueCornsihPixie · 20/08/2019 21:04

cherry but not 38 million people texting while driving Hmm

Just because you say people are being dramatic doesn't make it so.

To me it seems you are assuaging your guilt at being too thick to work out why you shouldn't text and drive

You said "it's hardly the worst crime in the world"

This sentence implies you think it's okay to do. That's literally the meaning of the saying.

Passthecherrycoke · 20/08/2019 21:14

So you’re saying what, that it is the worst crime in the world? Well the police and justice system disagree with you there

Passthecherrycoke · 20/08/2019 21:15

Also-
You should probably check what literally means, as you’ve completely misused it above. Literally would be me posting “it’s ok to text and drive”

Obviously. What with it being literal and all

Tonnerre · 20/08/2019 21:24

She is highly highly unlikely to crash and kill someone though is she? Don’t be so dramatic

The point is she is much more likely to crash and kill or seriously injure someone than she would be if she were not using the phone.

Passthecherrycoke · 20/08/2019 21:24

That’s true of course.

HappyParent2000 · 20/08/2019 21:26

I see two or three people a day on their phones while driving, I don’t even commute that far...

Nowt I can do about them but wait till they get caught or see the error of their ways, hoping its not too late for them!

sparklefarts · 20/08/2019 21:27

Pass you sound like a grade A wanker

hmwhatsmynameagain · 20/08/2019 21:27

So you only want to report her now you don't like her! Really look at yourself
