To think it’s way too early to receive a Christmas party invitation?!

It’s August! Lovely to be asked & I will probably go but blimey! I am always amused when my sis in law starts discussing arrangements for Christmas in July!

There's always so much on that things get missed. Family Christmas location needs to be decided early, we already discussed with ILs as we needed to know who was hosting in case we were and so MIL doesn't worry that she should (we offered, but SIL wants it). Weekend party invites are great to get early, there are a couple of friends who hold parties that I like to go to every year and it's nice to know they're booked so I can organise trips to other family and other catch-ups around them. Work parties are usually mid-week, again it's useful if they can be booked in so nothing conflicts with them. Maybe we'll hold a party this year too, so this does make me think that I'd like to get invitations out but DH hates too much forward planning so August would be too much for him!
