If you're a cleaner...

How many hours per week do you work? And do you clean any homes on weekends? Just started, and don't know if I should offer weekend slots, as I'm assuming most people are home on Sundays and wouldn't want someone in there cleaning?

No I did cleaning before. I think you can offer Saturday slots if you're available, put Sunday as a permanent day off.
Usually allocate 4 your slots, 3 for the work, one for your travel time.
House cleaning is hard work, it is a 3 hour workout all bending, sweating, hoovering and mopping.
You could squeeze 2 in a day.
Advertise on local sites, I've been looking for a local independent cleaner as a one off to help do a spring clean it is all agencies, I'd much rather pay an independent cleaner.

2 cleans a day maximum, 4 days a week. I don't do it anymore but the weekends were family time (for me), I'd do an occasional clean on a weekend if one of my regular clients requested it. I also took Monday off so I could do my own house thoroughly plus any other errands I needed to do which meant weekend time was free time. Depending on your area it can be very lucrative. I personally charged per job rather than per hour, and I wouldn't have done that physical work for £7 odd p/h when I could go and do something much easier for the same money.
