No I haven’t had unprotected sex since last being texted for stds however I forgot to get tested for pregnancy there. I have extremely bad back pain and the odd cramps and my nipples are sore and itchy accompanied by nausea

It may be your period, but get a pregnancy test or go to your GP. Good luck. Can you talk to anyone in real life?

Sexnotgender · 24/08/2019 22:11

Random question. Do you have little bumps round the dark part of your nipples? They only appear in pregnancy.
Do you have real life support?

Sayhellotothethings · 24/08/2019 22:25

It sounds like a late period to me OP but just take a test. Get yourself on contraception like the pill if you are having unprotected sex, or use condoms. The stress may have caused your period to be late.
Chat to your mum. I would much rather support my children through these things and them know that they can speak to me. X

@Sexnotgender what? I get this when I'm cold so I dont think it's related to pregnancy Confused

FireBloodAndIce · 25/08/2019 10:39

Also disagreeing with the nipple bumps. I had these since i was a teen, so totally unrelated to pregnancy. They may be for some people but it's not a common, of certain sign.

Twillow · 25/08/2019 13:17

This is all a little odd. OP is 16, seems very familiar with STD checks more frequently than once by the sound of it, but is unable to take the simple step of buying a pregnancy test.

Do you live somewhere contraception is frowned upon? Surely even in America/ Northern Ireland you can buy pregnancy tests over the counter?

Sexnotgender · 25/08/2019 13:34

Montgomery’s tubercles are a known sign of a first pregnancy.

But if you have only had an STD check within the last three weeks it may not show STD's like Cylamidia.

Just take a test OP.

beccarocksbaby · 25/08/2019 14:44

A m/c this early on would not produce the symptoms you are describing, the embryo is tiny and would not create "contraction" like pain, it's likely to be a late and therefore heavier period.

Use protection if you don't want to have a baby. Always. No excuses.

FireBloodAndIce · 25/08/2019 15:06

Yes you can get them in pregnancy, but a lot of women- including myself- have them before. They are not a certain indicator to rely on.

FireBloodAndIce · 25/08/2019 15:09

As far as signs go many 'signs' can slso not bd pregnancy. I ttc along time with my first, the amount of months I had signs...crazy. given the late period, a bfp/bfn on a test is the best indicator.

I have PCOS and excessive NKC. For the first years of my periods there was nothing unusual (unusual for a girl, that is). My symptoms and irregularities started to manifest around age 16 or 17. I was 10 when my periods started. I had a lot of the symptoms you gave mentioned, OP. Especially the emotional side of things, so much at do that at first my parents thought I needed a child psychologist because they thought I had some form of depression or something, rather than gynae issues. The cramps you are experiencing are the same as I had then. And the nausea.

I’m 45 now. Still have the same symptoms. Still childless. I’m sorry that this could be happening to you too.
