Where do you go to find cool teen boys clothes?

Not big into football, mostly tanks Grin wouldn’t want anything Fortnite related (he’s over that...almost) likes a good cotton t shirt, hype t shirts he’s had in the past but he got to warm in the fabric.

There seems this transition between needing young teen clothes but sometimes he fits into a small mans but need something suitable/quirky/fun for a teen.

I know I’m asking on AIBU but it seems the busiest place I visit, sorry Grin

Mine has gone onto Fred Perry and Lyle and Scott, with an occasional Ralph Lauren. Won’t wear character designs anymore and says ppl will take the piss if he wears an unbranded Tee 😬

CoffeeRunner · 17/08/2019 23:04

My fashion conscious DS2 spent his teenage years in H&M clothing. We didn’t have the budget for Fred Perry & the like!

H&M tend to be fashionable but affordable.

WindsBeginToSing · 17/08/2019 23:05

Shameless place marking! My DS doesn't give a damn about clothes, but now that he's starting secondary I'm trying to care just a teeny bit on his behalf, until he starts caring himself (if he ever does!).

Nameisthegame · 17/08/2019 23:06

Try red bubble online you can type in any subject he likes and there will be something related designed by a self employed artist 😊

stucknoue · 17/08/2019 23:09

The high street stores often have larger kids sizes online. Redbubble is good but their sizing is hit or miss

IsobelRae23 · 17/08/2019 23:10

Jeez you have it easy!!

Ds14, XXLarge top, 36 inch waist, 6ft 2, and size 12 shoe.

He plays rugby and you can tell!!

He lives in North Face. Which costs a fortune! He’s had a few t-shirts, 2 hoodies and 2 bottoms this holiday and it’s come to over £500. I’m praying he has stopped growing.

Redshoeblueshoe · 17/08/2019 23:13

I bought a really cool t shirt for a teenage boy at TKMaxx recently I still thought it was expensive Shock

lilyfire · 17/08/2019 23:13

My 15 yo is very label conscious and saves up his own money to buy stupidly expensive designer stuff but he’ll also wear plain white or black t shirts from Primark or anywhere, or labels like North Face for day to day.

ANiceLuxury · 17/08/2019 23:15

Mayoral?

SweetMarmalade · 17/08/2019 23:17

Isobel Shock has your Ds always been tall? I’m waiting for Ds to suddenly shoot up. He’s not far off me, I’m about 5’7, Dp is 6’5 so if he takes after him he’ll be growing out of everything really quickly Confused

Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far, off to have a quick look.

superdry do lovely clothes but they are expensive

sansou · 17/08/2019 23:39

Animal, Superdry, Vans, Jack Willis - all in the sales, never at full price!

pikapikachu · 18/08/2019 00:25

My 13yo likes JD Sports.
My other son wore ASOS and Primark at that age.

RubbingHimSourly · 18/08/2019 00:40

Qwertee is fab for tshirts and has the most amazing sales.

Walnutwhipster · 18/08/2019 00:43

Ds that age likes Patagonia. They're an environmentally friendly brand too.

RubbingHimSourly · 18/08/2019 00:43

Dp got chased down the street recently by some bloke wanting to know where he'd got this one from. He was very smug as I'm always mocking his dress sense 😂😂😂

Some great suggestions, lots of options to choose from, keep them coming Grin Need to save all this info somewhere for now and future use.

Rubbing, I’m loving some of the T-shirt’s. Ds loves Star Wars so the Abbey Road droids crossing would probably go down well, actually one of my older brothers would love that too. He’d also love the ‘you are here’ earth/solar system one.

I like the Never Forget tape/video T-shirt Blush

sweet my dp is hooked. They often have buy 2 get 2 free sales or flash sales where they practically give them away. They're really good quality too and 100% cotton.

My sons favourite are the lego ones, he has freddy Mercury (( I want to brick free)) and pink Floyd (( another brick in the wall)) 😂😂😂

SweetMarmalade · 18/08/2019 02:24

They’re great value! Even better if there’s a flash sale on soon.

Lego ones are great!

ASOS are great for basic T-shirt's, DS (15) has got a few of their muscle fit ones and they were less than £10.

Blankscreen · 18/08/2019 08:23

DS is 15 but very skinny.

He likes Asos, Hollister and lots of the brands in JD sports.

I picked up some cheap t-shirts in Primark - muscle fit and one of those is he favourite.

Xs men's seem to fit.

MrsBertBibby · 18/08/2019 08:24

TKMaxx is often good

Uniqlo has also produced some wins.

Teen boys are hard to dress!

Anjelika · 18/08/2019 08:42

I recently bought my very tall and skinny DS 12 an adult Nike T-shirt from Sports Direct which he had worn loads - cotton rather than sports material. Also find H&M good and Primark have the odd gem. Then again my DS is not very label conscious.
