Do your DC constantly hassle you to find out how long dinner will be?

We're in Oz. So it's teatime. Both of my DC who are 15 and 11 constantly ask when it's ready.

Coming in...asking "How long now?"

OH MY GOD! It's driving me mad. Is it normal?

I drive DH mad

"What's for tea?"
"What time will tea be ready?"

It's a bit of a joke as I KNOW how annoying it is from when I did all the cooking for years.

Sellotape If I let them eat a banana or something, they don't feel hungry when dinner arrives. Then they either pick at it or don't eat it at all. I make them wait.

😀 I think it's fairly normal.

My DS drives me completely crazy always asking what's for lunch/supper. I know it's a complement and that IABU, but I find it sooo annoying!

He is at uni now and says he misses my cooking and the cats!

Very normal, my 8 year old literally stalks me at tea time asking how many minutes now 😂
