The economy is not doing well because of Trump at all. He’s benefiting from policies implemented under the Obama years. Obama inherited a pile of shit under Bush following the credit crash.

A lot of work was done to dig America out and we’re seeing dividends now. However, the Trump administration is a fucking mess. Upsetting allies, trade wars etc. The deficit is exploding. A recession is coming. I can’t believe people think Trump is doing good things for the economy.

No they didn't. They tried to impeach him, quite rightly, for lying thru his teeth about getting an consensual blowjob, by saying, on TV, to 300m Americans, staring straight into the camera, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman".

Shit loads of photos of pretty inappropriate looking moments with his daughter too.

He's really done little for America. He inherited a strong economy which has been further stimulated in the short term by a tax cut for the rich, which is causing a ballooning national debt. Another recession in the near future is fairly likely and the country seems I'll equipped to deal with it.

And ignoring his personal prejudices for a second, the damage he has done to democracy is appalling. His gleeful acceptance of Russian assistance; his promotion of wikileaks; his contempt for the rule of law and the free press. He's destroying the US.

I think most us (probably not US voters) were surprised and apprehensive about Donald Trump being elected as US President. But the USA electorate did what they wanted to do.
An important issue is...…..why did Americans elect such a President? A large number of them must have thought that Hillary Clinton was even worse!
Do they know something we do not know?

Clinton was an uncharismatic, status-quo candidate. No doubt she'd have been a better president but she was the 'boring' option.

Basically she was Remain.

But the USA electorate did what they wanted to do.

Clinton had 3 million more votes than Trump. Trump being president is quite clearly not what the electorate wanted.
