My 6 day old baby had been in hospital for 3 days due to having jaundice.
Recommended count in blood is below 210, my daughter was 314. She’s had around 5/6 6 hour sessions of phototherapy (on a blanket only) and it’s gone from
314 to 260 to 241 to 291
So basically she rebound and it climbed back up. So they’ve put a light on top as well as on bottom.
They’ll be taking her off at 5am and checking her blood levels.
I’m not even with her due to baby being a twin so her 6 day old sister is at home still and my 19 month old daughter is suffering from serration anxiety (from me and her dad)
So my dh has been with her for 2 nights.
Why I posted on here was to find out if anyone else been through this with their little ones. And what result should I expect?? Thank you
