...and it is waffle. Those wafery things just absorb moisture, go soggy, and taste of sadness. Waffle cones are tasty, stay crisp, come dipped in chocolate and get eaten by sexier more beautiful people.

Wafers are much more cardboardy than waffles.
I'm only considering fresh ones, incorrectly stored cornettos don't count - a I doubt a wafer cone treated like that would maintain any structural integrity at all.
