AIBU to object to the unelected bureaucrat running the show in Number 10?

Brexit voters objected to 'unelected bureaucrats' 'giving us orders from Brussels' and voted to 'get our sovereignty back'. Their vote has brought us Dominic Cummings -who voted for him?- and the suggestion that Bozo (PM courtesy of Tory members) override the concerns of our sovereign parliament and simply do as he sees fit. Is this what you voted for? Hurrah for democracy.

You do realise that a huge % of decisions in terms of running our country are made by unelected people - like civil servants? Conscientious, hard working employed people whose job it is to help our country run...

You do realise that the elected people (aka MPs) have been playing power games for their own benefit for several years now - given a task by democratic vote to exit the EU.

You do realise that a no-deal exit on October 31st won't be Boris Johnson's 'fault' or responsibility? Those same elected people (MPs) have wasted two years not agreeing, in order to try and scupper the approach / process - no-deal exit is the default action now - those same elected MPs have had two years to find alternatives but have played silly games instead - there is a legal process in place, and instead of looking for consensus, those same MPs are going around bleating about how unfair it is / how wrong it is / how it should stop - with absolutely no concrete alternative as an option...

If those same MPs were in business, mostly they would have been sacked for incompetence by now...

there is a huge amount of hypocrisy and lying going on - mainly from those who have been elected...

don't confuse elected / employed with competent / incompetent.

*some MPs have been honourable and tried to make it work - many have spent the last two years trying to make it not work...

And how many advisers have been found to be in contempt of parliament just a couple of months before being glad handed into Number Ten?

The correct answer is none. I don’t like Cummings either but you need to get the facts straight.

Again, get your facts straight.

Bozo, as I've said, was elected to be PM by Tory members

Who was the last PM we elected? Do you know nothing about how Parliament works?
