Daily mail (I'm bored don't judge) woman burned her bits doing the gwyneth paltrow Fanny steam.......why would anyone think that's a good idea? What the hell are you doing with it that you feel you need to katcher it? I've previously said not not very girly, shower and leg shave and I'm good, I this really a thing??

If your fanny does indeed have cellulite I'd say yes, you do.

Zaphodsotherhead · 08/08/2019 10:03

I can't even get in a bath that's too hot.

Fanny steaming? Ow. No, really, ow ow ow.

Iwantacookie · 08/08/2019 10:06

Why why why? Maybe it opens up your pores down there or something Confused
Youde probably be better off bending over and opening the dishwasher rather than squatting over a cup of tea.

Vulpine · 08/08/2019 10:09

Funkylittleboatrace - it does seem strange that a woman woukd go to the effort of getting a hollywood wax (which is as crazy as steaming) and not bother about hygiene although fannies are meant to be self cleaning

TheFaerieQueene · 08/08/2019 10:10

Bollock steaming seems a good idea. They are wrinkly little buggers!

WishMyNameWasWittyNotShitty · 08/08/2019 10:11

I remember reading when I was near the end of my pregnancy, that to bring on labour squat over some steaming hot coffee???!!

Erm.....no ta, the vag waa gona be a bit on the side side soon, I didn't want to add 3rd degree burns to that!

AnastasiaVonBeaverhausen · 08/08/2019 10:11

@beelover you saw Saint Joanna of Lumley steaming her vag?
I'm genuinely not sure how to process that

funkylittleboatrace · 08/08/2019 10:13

@beelover honestly it's the easiest £35 I make all day, I've got so quick at doing them and apparently I don't hurt like some I just wish some clients would be a little bit um fresher 😂.

TSSDNCOP · 08/08/2019 10:13

This from the Wiki No empirical evidence supports any of these claims.

Nutshells don’t get any better than that!

"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" applies here

Skyejuly · 08/08/2019 10:44

Its not really for beauty.

Pjsandbaileys · 08/08/2019 11:51

WhatTheWatersShowedMe · 08/08/2019 11:59

You aren't doing it right if you don't shove a wildly expensive jade egg up your foof as well.

sweetkitty · 08/08/2019 12:06

You know I was thinking about this the other day, when I was young and had cystitis my mother made me sit on a potty with boiling water in it!! Old wives tale! Don’t know if it worked or why she just didn’t take me to the GP for antibiotics.

Gormanuary · 08/08/2019 12:22

I've done it. Grin
Did a DIY home version with an old pot placed in the toilet bowl, filled with boiling water and various herbs.

I did it because I was desperate for something, anything that might possibly help my horrendous period pains, after conventional medicine told me everything was "fine". It wasn't, turned out I have endometriosis so of course the steaming was useless!

However, it was actually quite pleasant and relaxing. Also I remembered an old One Born Every Minute episode where the midwife said she always applies a hot flannel to the vaginal area before delivery and reckoned it helped prevent tearing, so maybe there is some use for vag steaming ...

Loyaultemelie · 08/08/2019 12:28

This is almost as disturbing as the Facebook warnings during the heatwave about the dangers of shoving ice lollies up your foof. I am slightly worried why people had to be told not to do this!

Zoidbergonthehalfshell · 08/08/2019 13:21

I look forward to Mens Health mag publsihing an article on the rejuvenating effects of a cock steam

Steamed meat and two veg, anyone?

ODFOx · 08/08/2019 13:31

Yoni steaming is definitely a thing. There used to be a womens festival where a lot of it went on, before it was closed down for excluding the women without yonis.....

I would thoroughly recommend the hilarious thread in classics about yoni massage also. Kind OP was offering them (massages, not yonis) to Mners, if I recall correctly....

SteelRiver · 08/08/2019 13:38

I read an interview with a gynaecologist recently and she advised against it, saying it could upset the natural balance of the area.

I think anyone who tries it must be crackers!

StarlightLady · 08/08/2019 13:40

I prefer mine grilled! Grin

Pjsandbaileys · 08/08/2019 14:09

Is a yoni massage not masterbation or am I missing something, or possibly doing it wrong I'm all ears though?

OP posts:
ODFOx · 08/08/2019 14:14

Apparently not the same, if I remember correctly. Brian from Hull (not his real name) was offering the procedure because the ladeez in his life found it enhanced their sex lives, not replaced it.

I tried to find the thread to link but although it shows up on advanced search it won't open for me.

A quote I remember: 'My Yoni says No(ni)' Grin

Bollock steaming seems a good idea. They are wrinkly little buggers!

And if that doesn't work you could iron them.
