I have 8mo twins - I love them dearly but and do have an OH with whom I live with but I've been on mat leave and he's worked meaning I'm alone all day. He misses bedtime and wake up time so I do everything alone.

I don't have a big family and nor does he. I have my parents and sisters and he just his mum.

I love my kids dearly (that goes without saying) and everyone always tells you that self care is so important and I have to take time for myself but why does no one actually help you achieve this.

My mum says it all the time.. you need a break. Help me then? Give me a break? She will come to my house and walk the babies to the shops for an hour and leave. It's not a break in my eyes. Or as I have twins she will take 1 over night once in a blue moon.
That doesn't help me as I still have a baby? And I'm so accustomed to having 2 that having just 1 is no different to me.

I guess I just feel burnt out. Help would be taking them for a day and having them overnight, I don't even want a night out. I just want to sleep and rest.
