Mine are:

  1. He always puts the sofa cushions back in the wrong places no matter how many times I tell him!
  2. If the dishwasher cycle is finished he will take out the one item he needs and leave all the other clean dishes in there.
  3. He leaves the dirty dishes on the counter even when the dishwasher is empty!
  4. He leaves little piles of papers everywhere to "remind himself" to deal with them, (dining table, coffee table, TV unit, kitchen counters) but never moves them!
  5. He waits for the laundry basket to be empty then puts 1 small item in it which then sits there taunting me!

I mean obviously he's a heathen and I should LTB!

So what does your dp do that just narks?

Maybe he is correct you, you're putting them in 'the wrong place' or is he not allowed an opinion in his own home!!

He wears headphones while playing xbox sometimes and he can't bloody hear me talking to him and yelling at him. I have to tap him to get his attention
With some of the nagging women on here I'm only surprised that more men don't wear them! It's his home too.

I'm loving some of these! We are all obviously saints to put up with all these! 😂

I asked him what I do that annoys him he said he needed to think and came back half an hour later to say I never annoy him and am perfect! He's lying but I'm waiting to see the thread on dadsnet "Help! My wife asked me what she does that annoys me, what's the safest response!"

To the few people who obviously haven't got the very lighthearted point of this thread please take your high and mighty-ness else where! Thanks! 😂

See my DP seems to be the opposite of most of yours, I am sure he would have a field day listing what annoys him about me!
I am generally tidy and organised but quite relaxed about things my DP on the other hand is ex military, not ocd but exceptionally organised and tidy!

He can't leave any surface with any kind of clutter so I find things like my keys are constantly tidied away but always in a different place, I can never find a bastard thing as it's never where I left it!

He will get into chore mode and do a thorough clean but the irrational side of me gets pissed off as it's as if he's insinuating I'm a slob and my cleaning is not up to standard which I can assure you is not the case.

Although he does still manage to never notice piss stains on the toilet 🤣.

Tbf I'm very lucky as he more than pulls his weight and is very handy at diy as well, I just wish sometimes he would loosen up and embrace a little bit of occasional mess.

Takes dirty crocks and leaves them above the dishwasher when it would take an extra 5 seconds to put them inside it.
When he empties the dishwasher, chucks stuff in cupboards at random, so will pile up pasta bowls precariously with cereal bowls, put knives in the fork section, etc.
Hangs washing out at weird angles so it buggers the seams up.
Leaves all the loo seats up, despite me leaving notes above them asking him to put them down.
Shuffled his legs all the time in bed.
I'm sure I could go on all night, I wonder if his list about me would be as lengthy?

Iwantacookie · 04/08/2019 22:09

Telling me to sit down and he'll wash up but leaves it till the morning.
Never uses the loo brush after himself.
Has a pile of plates cups around him. Ffs your going in the kitchen to get another cup just take that one with you.
Never opens bedroom curtains.
Drives me mad if I'm out before he's up.

Christ, reading this lot makes me so glad I'm divorced and single! I have 3 children, I don't need another disguised as an adult.

Leaves the bread on TOP of the bread bin.
Why?!
