I have tendonitis in my wrist and it's excruciating. I'm doubling up on paracetamol and ibuprofen but it's barely taking the edge off and I can't get a GP appointment till well into next week although I'm not sure what they'd do anyway. It's bad enough that I can't really drive.

Is there anything else I could buy in the pharmacy that would make it a bit less miserable over the weekend? I don't get on very well with cocodamol.

@letsnotargue Aldi do a version of it, paracetamol aspirin and caffeine.

I’m seconding Feminax Ultra, Which is naproxen.
It’s another NSAID, and as tendinitis is presumably inflamed tendons, it should help.
It’s the only thing that really works on my ovulation pain.

I can't take co-codamol and I struggle with codiene but Paramol works well for me - might be worth trying - I struggle with Solpediene too so it must be something in the make up of Paramol that's different.

PLEASE be aware that the gels and creams you can rub on that contain drugs need to be taken into account when you take drugs orally so your don't overdose.

Another thing that can help is massaging your shoulder/arm indirectly. Thee is likely muscle tightness pulling on the tendons which is helping to irritate the inflamed tendon sheaths.
