I have a wedding to attend on Sunday, I’ve decided I don’t like dress plan A or B. This is now plan C.

AIBU to wear this dress? Is it too close to white?

You look fantastic, definitely wear it. I'm not keen on your funny black veil though, ditch that 😁

73Sunglasslover · 02/08/2019 19:32

The way you are standing in the 3rd makes me think you are not comfortable and it would be too short for me too. I'd wear it with trousers as a tunic and not as a dress (unless I was under 21!). The other two are nice. The grey one looks see through. A bit old fashioned I know, but do you have a slip you can wear under it so it's not so obvious where your knickers are? The first one is nice too especially if dressed up a little. It's not too close to white.

PhillyLift · 02/08/2019 19:33

The first one. 100%

Bebelicious · 02/08/2019 19:35

A is my favourite.
C is lovely too
B is a nice style, but the colour a bit non-descript

Baguetteaboutit · 02/08/2019 19:36

I like the long sleeved one the best.

danishkids · 02/08/2019 20:41

C! So beautiful!

SegregateMumBev · 02/08/2019 20:44

Really don't like long sleeves (but that might be just me, I find I get very hot in them)

The grey lacy one looks most wedding-guest-y, but the first one you posted is lovely and summery.

What's the weather likely to be?

User55234 · 02/08/2019 20:53

Nooo, the second one is much more flattering and a better length on you. The other two are too short.

MrsBobBlackadder · 02/08/2019 20:55

Love the bemused cat in the first pic Grin

(I think dress A)

B

Benjispruce · 02/08/2019 21:20

B or C

Benjispruce · 02/08/2019 21:22

A does not suit your colouring. It’s too wishy washy- needs a tan.

Benjispruce · 02/08/2019 21:23

I think people are confused with a , b and c as you posted the order as c, a and b.

CSIblonde · 02/08/2019 21:30

B looks great on you. You look really slim & it shows your great legs. A is a bit matronly. C would be good if you dressed it up a bit with heels & a belt to show off your waist.

ShirleyPhallus · 02/08/2019 21:32

Another vote for A

Another vote for great floorboards

barryfromclareisfit · 02/08/2019 21:32

Honestly? Any of those- you look great.

Caterinaballerina · 02/08/2019 21:37

It’s not too white and would be a lovely choice. The grey one looks good for a wedding too and I think you would look different with a heel on as it changes your posture. The long sleeve one is probably my favourite dress overall but least weddingy. Save that for a great night out. Go and enjoy yourself and well done on the clothes buying ban!

Rosere · 02/08/2019 21:40

Confused myself about the lettering, but Love the white that's not too white and the grey one. The green is possibly a little short but you look fab in all of them.

SuzieSunshine · 02/08/2019 21:42

I personally think the first one (perfect), then the second (I think I can see the outline of your knickers too) and then the third (a bit short?). All lovely dresses and they all look great on you but for comfort I'd go A.
Have a great time!!

*You can dress A up. It's a nice dress and suits your lovely figure.

Dress B is a bit old bridesmaid.

Dress C looks polyester and cheap. It doesn't do you justice at all.*

@NoBaggyPants - I think you have the letters mixed up.

The first dress is C (nice)

The second dress is A (old bridesmaid)

The third dress is B (polyester and cheap)

C
A
B

Personally, I infinitely prefer dress C, the first dress posted.

Teabag37 · 02/08/2019 21:49

C is lovely !!

lululatetotheparty · 02/08/2019 21:51

First dress, hugely flattering and pretty. The last dress is lovely.. but not weddingy... and yes the second one feels too old.

Cupoftea7 · 02/08/2019 21:52

A is nice and summery.

B is ok but a bit plain

C is too short
