AIBU to ask you to nominate Balonz?

So, Twitter users may have seen that the UKs Met Office is looking for suggestions for this seasons storm names.

So, AIBU to ask any mumsnet users with Twitter to nominate the very mumsnet worthy name of Storm Balonz by posting the following from their account?:

Hi @metoffice, I'd like to help #NameOurStorms and nominate #Balonz!

Just imagine it, sitting with a cup of tea watching the weather after the news and

"Bad news everyone, there is a weather warning in place for Storm Balonz which hits the country at the end of the week".

And at that moment you can imagine that across the country hundreds of other mumsnetters also smiling into their cuppa knowing what we have achieved.

What do we think?

Well, this is quite something! I feel sure that both the Balonzes in my life would be absolutely honoured, especially if such a storm was to be so kind as to visit the Frensham Ponds area one day...

My only concern would be that I assume the Met Office are looking for unusual and distinctive storm names? I fear Balonz may be a little too humdrum for them. Sad

I love the fact that the original Balonz thread has never made it out of Baby Names into Classics, even though it is far funnier and more bonkers than a lot of the threads that have.
