AIBU to fancy a drink while breastfeeding?

We have a wedding coming up which I will be attending for the full day with DH and DS who will be 8 weeks old. I have just got in an argument with DH for suggesting we get a taxi so that I could have a couple of drinks throughout the day thinking that it's a nice day out at our friends wedding. I would obviously not be getting drunk just social drinking slowly throughout the day. He has said that it's ridiculous not to drive and pay for taxi because we will have the pram etc and it would be so much easier to have our own car for the sake of me having a drink. I've taken the huff a bit as I just thought it was a chance to enjoy after the baby but not sure if I'm overreacting and actually maybe it isn't responsible to have more than a drivers amount to drink with a newborn? I suppose maybe I just got annoyed that he presumed without considering I may want to have a drink to relax with friends when out for the first after being pregnant for 9 months... WWYD? AIBU?

I had a glass of wine the night we brought DS home!

Of course it's fine to have a few drinks whilst breastfeeding, obv don't go mad but the main issue is being drunk not having "alcoholic" milk (total myth that you have to pump and dump too!).

I'd suggest he drive if he's so bothered!

Have a lovely time OP! At 8 weeks bubs will likely just sleep and feed! We took 7 week old ds on holiday to centre parks and he was on great form! Smiling looking around and snoozing etc. Plus he started sleeping through then!

If he wants to take the car he can drive.
