Not poo troll.
Aibu to think I should be able to sit down without searing pain from piles.
38 weeks pregnant in agony from potrudey little bastard piles.

I'm almost on tears.

Cream worked last time a few weeks ago but for some reason they're back and not going.

Bowels are fine. Not straining. Just absolutely sick.

Have you tried the max strength suppositories? They're the only thing that helped relieve the horrendous pain for me.

ohhdearyme · 30/07/2019 12:29

I ended up going to the doctors when I had them when pregnant and he pushed them back in. It hurt like hell but as soon as they were back I practically skipped back to the car park! Blush

ButtHurt · 30/07/2019 12:38

I need to see the doc before birth.
I've pushed them back in But they pop out again. Ice does nothing. Baths 3 times a day aren't stopping them. They ease for a bit then just pop out again as soon as I go for a pee even though I try to just sit normally.

I could scream.
Will it just stop after birth.

I'm still suffering from piles a year after my baby was born...i find coconut oil or castor oil help soothe the area.

ButtHurt · 30/07/2019 13:07

Oh no. Well this is depressing.

I had this when pregnant and they went away after. What cream did you use? I found anusol relieved the pain/itching even though it didnt really get rid of them. Finger crossed they go away soon.

ButtHurt · 30/07/2019 14:03

Im using something with local anesthetic. Loads of creams you can't use while pregnant.
I had really bad with last birth but wasn't expecting this pain before a birth. Guess it's just the pressure from baby.

Germoloids are better than anusol. Both for stopping pain and getting them to go down.

Ice packs are great.

Yes they are hideously painful.

imalrightjack · 30/07/2019 14:10

I had them whilst pregnant. They didn't go afterwards!!! Had to have surgery to have them banded.

Got pregnant again, they came back despite living on lactulose and taking fibre supplements for months. Once again on waiting list for surgery......

ButtHurt · 30/07/2019 14:10

My DH just looks at me like I've taken leave of my senses.
I cant sit to eat food which is even more depressing.

I hope I don't need surgery.

Oh god you poor thing. I remember the piles more than recovering from a C-section!!!! I had mine a couple of times after birth but then it went away so don't be too disheartened.

Random but I found that Vicks vaporub gave me most relief. It gets all cool and tingly. The weird sensation temporarily takes your mind off the agony.

ambereeree · 30/07/2019 17:46

@Constantlurker I'll try that.

Laurajp35 · 30/07/2019 20:44

Try the anusol suppositories- I found these good after I had my baby. I do feel for you, it’s a nightmare!
