Where is it.... missing biscuit piece...

I have discovered, to my horror, that the biscuit I have just dipped into my tea, has a piece missing.

I do not know if it was entire pre-dunkage.

Is it in my tea?

Relevant details - Morrisons brand Malted Milk, 'C is for Coffee and also for Cock' mug (which yes, incorrectly contains tea not coffee). The Tea is PG Tips, the milk is full fat.

I am worried if I drink the last dregs (it is currently two thirds full and optimum temp. for drinking) I will locate the missing biscuit. This would be traumatic because, well thats always traumatic.

Do I drink on, or do I discard a possibly perfectly good brew?

You put FULL FAT milk in your tea? Shock

The biscuit is the least of your worries. Be ashamed!!!!

Jebuschristchocolatebar Get thee behind me, Satan!

Do you have a Labrador?

WiddlinDiddlin · 30/07/2019 20:59

I have a hound.. he is willing to dispose of biscuits, soggy sludge or not..

Chocolate covered biscoff? What is this madness and where do I purchase it?

I also like to dip a Daim bar in a VERY hot cup of tea... and then slurp off the chocolate. It's extremely bad. I love it.

Apparently kitkats are good in tea with the ends bitten off (like a straw) although I haven't tried it myself so it could be one of those things that people say but in reality are shit.

and im also sulking that i have no biscuits at all in the house

thefloogals · 31/07/2019 15:08

@GooodMythicalMorning omg. Do that but swap the kit kat for a twirl

whothedaddy · 31/07/2019 15:17

The absolute best thing to dunk in tea is a penguin.

Bite the diagonal corners off and then suck the tea out of it like a straw. Then you can eat the penguin, it's melted from the inside out and the best thing ever

Singleandproud · 31/07/2019 15:42

@whothedaddy, I remember when I first heard to use a Penguin like that. I was sneakily watching Graham Norton (I think I was probably 14 or so and GN was very risqué before his move to BBC and I wasn’t meant to watch it) and someone said that.

WiddlinDiddlin · 31/07/2019 17:20

The penguin thing is the british version of the Aussie TimTam, where you do the same thing, corners off, slurp it through the biscuit then eat the rest before it disintegrates in your hand/drops in your brew.

I have to confess.. whilst I like a HobNob, I find them an inferior biscuit for dunking. They shed bits, oaty bits, which then lurk in your tea. Bleurgh.

I do like Tunnocks caramel wafer dipped in tea, goes all melty and squishy but doesnt shed bits.

Surely you can't go wrong with a milk chocolate digestive? There should be no other dipping!

Teacakeandalatte · 01/08/2019 09:02

Does this Penguin thing really work? It sounds messy.

Teacakeandalatte · 01/08/2019 09:03

Also am I the only one who doesnt like Biscoff, the most rubbish biscuit ever imo.

WiddlinDiddlin · 01/08/2019 09:50

If I get very bored in the next few days I shall locate both TimTams and Penguins and attempt it, just for you Teacake... (this is likely!!)... er and in the interests of science too!

Biscoff rule, OK!

Both I and the entire scientific community thank you for your research.

Teacakeandalatte · 01/08/2019 10:05

I still think Biscoff are rubbish though!

Jebuschristchocolatebar · 01/08/2019 10:19

Personally I prefer a rich tea with biscoff spread slathered all over it. That way you get the underpinning on the solid biscuit with a hint of goo on the top.

GooodMythicalMorning · 01/08/2019 17:27

yes timtams are pretty much the same, but more flavours of timtams I think and maybe slightly bigger but not much. Dad lives in Tas and brings them over for us when he visits.
