To ask if any mumsnetters know New York?

Help for upcoming journey - How do I get from Newark airport, ideally to Central Park ( or even Times Square) by bus. Looking online and it’s confusing. Has anyone done the journey?
Would rather go by bus than train/ subway
What number is it and is it direct all the way?

Quick question- do the trains from Newark to NYC Penn and also the subway run on a Sunday?

Yes, the trains run on Sunday but they don't run as frequently as they do on the weekdays. I used to take the trains into and out of New York City on Sundays when I lived in New Jersey.

The train service is called New Jersey Transit and the route that you would be riding from Newark airport is called Northeast Corridor. Google "New Jersey Transit" and you'll find their schedules.

There's lots of really helpful Youtube videos about too for planning journeys. I remember watching one that had the bus details from Newark.

(I agree with train though, did it to JFK and it was so easy).
