To not know what's going on re Labour and Anti Semetism?

I'm pathetically ignorant, and I feel too stupid now to ask anyone I know, so could anyone please tell me - what have Labour done/said that's anisemitic?

their are elements of the hard left that have always had an issue with Jews - seeing them as part of the establishment, controllers of banks and the media etc

back in 1988 I had to defend my 18 year old mate (female) from a verbal and almost physical assault by Militant members - because she wore a start of David necklace

I believe Momentum are from the same stock

The issue for me is they are OBSESSED with Palestine - and the evil jew oppressors (do not get me wrong I am no fan of the actions of that government) but they are so black and white - so Hamas become the heroes - Palestine has no democracy, now gay rights no real women's rights - and the 'government' also engages in terrorism

they couldn't give a flying fuck about other Middle Eastern countries or issues - no crying for Yemen, no outrage at Saudi - but ohhhh those evil (jewish) oppressors

in the 80's they also had the IRA as poster boys for the fight against - well everyone who was not as left wing as them.

it is a huge issue and if you are on Twitter you can see it first hand

I am on the left, I have been a party member for 33 years - I see the issue and I want it delt with not denied

My own parties FB page was filled with endless daily anti Palestine posts - which is great but fuck all to do with post holes, selling off the golf course to build private housing or HS2 - all of which ARE local issues - they are obsessed

Jews are made responsible for the actions of a government they have no power over in the same way the right insists Muslims apologise for every terrorist attack committed Islamist idiots

Everything ghosty said. I have heard a Labour Party member openly blaming the Jews for the financial crisis a few years ago.

They obviously thought everyone agreed with their views because they were so blatant.

The Labour Party has a reAl opportunity to sort itself out, but basically they don’t want to unless they really, really, have to.

Yeah I confess to being embarrassed I don't actually know who miss said or done what. I wouldn't have made an assumption than anti banker was anti Jew, as surely thinking all bankers are Jews is just as much a racist stereotype? Israel and Palestine is another issue I need to be more educated on, but my limited understanding is that both sides have done terrible things so surely supporting either is a mistake?
