To put fan in toddlers room

So like most of the uk we are melting here. Upstairs is like the heat hitting you when you get off an aeroplane on holiday. WIBU to put fans in all my DC rooms. I have read loads about never having them in children's rooms or pointing them at them in the night (which I wouldn't) but will I really summon demons from the 7th circle of hell by having them in there or will my DC be absolutely fine? They are 4, 3 and 2 youngest is in a cot if that makes a difference?

Just to add though that I have a video monitor so would see them moving and get in there before they were within grabbing distance of said fan!

Literally bought a fan yesterday specifically to live in 2yo DSs room. He spent the few nights before in our room, because we have a fan 😂
