To wake sleeping baby to give calpol?

DD is 4 months and had her last lot of jabs today. She has been fine all day and hasn’t fussed at all. However her temperature has been 38 all afternoon and evening. Gave calpol at 5pm so she can have the 3rd dose now but she is fast asleep and will usually sleep through until 6am.

Would you wake and try to give a dose of calpol to bring the temperature down, or leave her sleeping since it isn’t bothering her? Doesn’t help that the bedroom is like a sauna with the hot weather!

vaccinations dont necessarily cause temperatures

@EleanorReally NHS advice is now to give 3 doses of calpol 4-6 hours apart to prevent a fever for the Men B vaccine. You get a leaflet when you have the vaccine telling you to do it.

My DS was really unsettled after all of his jabs but he was a high needs baby anyway. DD is totally different and has sailed through hers!
