To be a bit pissed off?

Had plans last Saturday to have a night out with a friend after she said she was spending too much time with her BF and needed girls time.
She said last Tuesday she had a bit of a dodgy stomach and felt down so she wasn't going to bother.
Saturday night she rings and is out with her boyfriend on a night out.
Would you be a bit annoyed ?

I would, a tiny bit, but honestly she didn’t flake, she did give you loads of notice (5 days). Perhaps she felt better than she expected on Saturday?

CatInADoghouse · 22/07/2019 20:52

I would be annoyed if she had cancelled the night before or on the day, especially if I had changed my plans to accommodate her but with that much notice to make other plans I would be fine with it. She probably didn't want to annoy you by asking you if you could go ahead with your night out after saying she didn't want to bother. I wouldn't look anymore into it. Just rearrange for another time.

No. I don't agree. She should have been in touch with you if she feel well enough to go out. That's what I would have done.

Felt! Fgs!

Weird that she rang whilst out with her boyfriend when she cancelled on you.

I would be upset; id also be suspicious at someone cancelling on a Tuesday ahead of Saturday with a “dodgy” tummy
