To ask where I can get wide fit children’s size 3 shoes with ankle support?

My dd is 21 months and very small. She’s suffering developmental delays especially with her gross motor skills. She’s not walking yet. No diagnosis as yet.

Our physio has said she should have shoes/ boots with a firm sole and ankle support. Her feet measure a wide 3 (Clark’s 3G) but all shoes with firm soles/ ankle support seem to be size 4 upwards.

I’ve tried Clark’s, shu kids, foot locker and M & S. I feel a bit stupid but I don’t know where else to try. I’d rather not buy online I’d like her to try them on.

Any suggestions welcome.

Kickers are good. Also look at Firetrap Rhino boots from Sports Direct. Very supportive, small sizes available and very reasonably priced.

@scaryteacher ohhh yes, French’s are definitely still going. Will be there in a few weeks for the annual school shoe chaos Grin

This thread is a mine of information thanks everyone. We nipped into TK Maxx before we went home and found some adorable high top sandals for £12.99 that fit!!

I’m so chuffed I’d stealed myself to shell out £80 or so in Russell and Bromley or similar and got two pairs for under £20 Grin.

When her feet grow in a few weeks I’ll revisit this thread though full of brilliant tips. Thanks again x
