The list, in ascending order....

Kew Gardens, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster, the British Museum, St Michael's Mount, Westminster Abbey, the Roman Baths, Giant's Causeway, Mt Snowdon, Hadrian's Wall, White Cliffs of Dover, St Paul's Cathedral, Loch Ness, Jurassic Coast, Edinburgh Castle, Cheddar Gorge, Tower of London, Lake District, Tower Bridge and Stone Henge.

Quite enjoyed this programme & was initially chuffed that I had been to 18 out of the 20 places mentioned (Giants Causeway & Snowdon definitely on my bucket list though). However, I then realised that 8 of them are in London and, given that I'm a Londoner, it was hardly surprising that I'd visited them! I also thought it was rather unbalanced and some awesome places had been missed. For example, Dartmoor, Holy Island sprang to mind. We are definitely spoilt for choice in Britain though with so many amazing places to visit.

What do you think?

Surprised that York minster or the bar walls aren't included...

Lots more from places other than London.... maybe there should be a "Britain's greatest hidden landmarks" that doesn't have all the obvious London places?

Yes, sounds a bit London centric

Who's created this list how? What criteria have they used? I would take the UN list of World Heritage Sites as a good start to Britain's national treasures. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_Heritage_Sites_in_the_United_Kingdom
